Darksiders II Tops Australian Charts, DLC Details

The NPD Group Australia have confirmed that Darksiders II topped the Australian sales charts in its launch week beginning August 16th! Congrats to THQ, it's a great game that really deserves the attention it's getting. Sequels that actually change and improve upon their predecessors should be commended. If you haven't bought it yet, check out my Darksiders II review which should hopefully convince you ;)

Also in Darksiders II news, THQ have released details on the first post-launch DLC pack, Argul's Tomb. Argul’s Tomb is a new gameplay zone, which includes two challenging new dungeons, new enemies to best and unique legendary loot to collect. Tailored towards players that have finished at least the first three zones of the main game, Argul’s Tomb adds an additional challenge for gamers of all levels.

Wait, didn't we already kill Argul? Who are the squatters in his tomb!?

Any new purchaser of the Limited Edition version of Darksiders II will find a unique code in their game box entitling them to download this first content pack for free. Users should follow the instructions on the card to redeem their content. For all other customers Argul’s Tomb is available to download for 560 MS Points / $9.29.

The content will be available to download on Xbox 360 and PC worldwide as well as PS3 in Australia and New Zealand on Thursday 27th September.

Argul’s Tomb will be included on the disc at launch for Wii U along with additional bonus content.
