Battlefield 3 Armored Kill Assignments, Trophies and Achievements Detailed

The Australian spell-checker inside my head pains me to spell it this way, but the upcoming Battlefield 3 expansion pack Armored Kill releases this week for PS3 Premium users, and next week for PC and 360 Premium players, and DICE have revealed all the assignments, trophies and achievements that the DLC will introduce, including 5 Premium exclusive dog tag assignments. These assignments unlock a black and gold dogtag much like the class specialist ones released previously, except these ones are basic dog tags, meaning they're the ones that appear on the left of your tags. They have designs based on the various vehicles of the game, and are listed with their requirements below.

Armored Superiority
Unlocks the Armored Superiority Basic Dog Tag
> 50 kills in MBT’s

Mechanized Infantry
Unlocks the Mechanized Infantry Basic Dog Tag
> 50 kills in IFV’s

Get to tha Choppa
Unlocks the Get to tha Choppa Basic Dog Tag
> 50 kills with scout or attack helicopters
> Destroy 25 MBT’s with scout or attack helicopters

Maverick
Unlocks the Maverick Basic Dog Tag
> 50 kills with jets
> Destroy 25 attack or scout helicopters with jets

Need a ride?
Unlocks the Need a Ride Basic Dog Tag
> 50 kills in jeeps, boats, quads or transport helicopters
> 50 squad driver assists




DICE have also stated that there will be more Premium dog tags to come.

In addition to these assignments, there are five assignments available to anyone with the Armo[u]red Kill DLC, which unlock vehicle specialisations and gadgets for the Tank Destroyer and Mobile Artillery, two new vehicles added with the DLC. They are as follows.

Wired Attack
Unlocks Tank Destroyer TOW
> Destroy 10 Tank Destroyers and 1 Mobile Artillery

Explosive Danger
Unlocks HE ammo for Tank Destroyers
> Get 15 kills with Tank Destroyer

Need Repair
Unlocks Tank Destroyer Fire Extinguisher
> Repair 20 friendly vehicles

Rocket Specialist
Unlocks Airburst for Mobile Artillery
> Get 10 kills with Mobile Artillery

Anti-air Support
Unlocks Anti-air missiles for Mobile Artillery
> Get 15 kills in the Gunship


These assignments thankfully don't look too hard, but it'll be funny to see the playerbase suddenly changing their playstyles to try and unlock the assignments, as it always happens when new assignments are released. Like when everyone was trying to get an EOD bot kill once Close Quarters was released.

The trophies and achievements for the DLC were officially revealed as well, and are as follows.

Death from above
> Get a kill with the Gunship
20G/Bronze

Dropship
> Destroy the Gunship
30G/Bronze

Roadkill
> Get a kill with the quad bike
20G/Bronze

Superiority
> Win a round of Tank Superiority
20G/Silver

Destroyer
> Get 10 kills each with Tank destroyer and Mobile Artillery
30G/Silver
