Skyrim's Hearthfire DLC Launches September 4th, Details Within

Earlier this month Bethesda filed a trademark for an upcoming Skyrim DLC, Hearthfire, and a supposed leak suggested that the DLC will revolve around home-making. It was confirmed today that this is in fact the purpose of the DLC. The description reads:

"From a simple one-room cottage to a sprawling compound complete with armory, alchemy laboratory, and more. Choose your land, customize your house, guard it from unwanted visitors, and turn your house into a home by adopting children."

See the reveal trailer below:

The DLC Pack will launch September 4th for Xbox 360 for 400 MS Points, with a release for PC and PS3 presumably to come about a month afterwards.

This DLC appeals to me a lot more than Dawnguard, it's a cheaper DLC that can be fully utilised by all kinds of characters, and allows you to get creative. Can't wait.

Update: I managed to track down the GameJam video from last year, in which Bethesda showed off some things the development team made a week after the game's release. The house building and child adoption features of Hearthfire were in it, and some early workings of some of the Dawnguard content as well. Given this it's highly likely that the 'mods' in here that haven't shown up yet will appear in future DLC. Have a look:
